The Software Solution to the INTEGRATED
APPROACH: Based on assessments of over 5000 volunteers from 2001-2008, we have formulated new software for assessing counselees and reporting results. A complete and integrated assessment is produced from eight or more surveys in simple text. This program is a powerful tool for spiritual counseling, family therapy, or any of the other assessment-based therapies. The program is an integration of the following modules: (1) Motivational Gifts Inventory, second generation (MGI2): We have discovered that there are nine distinct Motivational Gifts rather than seven (as per Romans 12). The discovery of “Motivating” and “Managing” has led to far more accurate and concise inventories. 40 statements to process. (2) Hood Comparison-style Motivational Gifts (HCM2): This inventory uses a comparison of statements to determine Motivational Gifts. Often the Hood is able to see through Motivational Gift masks and get to the true Motivation, especially when it is in contradiction to the other Inventories. 40 comparisons. (3) Modified Selig Inventory (MSI2). The Selig Inventory has been the standard for Motivational Gifts Assessment. We have improved upon the Selig by making it more concise and adding the new Motivatuions that we have discovered. 100 statements. (4) Direct Open Scale (DO). The DO Scale measures the quantity of being direct vs. indirect, and open vs. closed (self-contained). The DO scale, unlike four-dimensional temperament schemes, gets beyond the “mask” that is often taken as the user’s temperament, to give solid, useful values. 36 statements. (5) Creation Therapy Inventory (CTI). The CTI accurately measures five dimensions of temperament in three realms: Apostolic (phlegmatic), Prophetic (choleric), Evangelistic (sanguine), Pastoral (supine), Didactic (melancholic) in Social, Control, and Affection settings. We have found the CTI to be more accurate than the TAPS or FIRO-B. 105 statements. (6) Nine-key Personality Inventory (9key). The 9Key is extremely accurate in returning the personality type based on the Kersey personality type system with the Riso Enneagram wing. 90 statements. (7) The Riso Enneagram Inventory / Snyder. (REIS) quickly evaluates for Enneagram personality type and wing. Both the Enneagram and the 9-Key system came to us from ancient biblical lore and have been elevated to a scientifically recognized method of psychology in our day. 2 statement sets. (8) The Assessment Results: All the outcomes of the above inventories are aggregated in one complete and easy-to-understand text. The programs run on any DOS or Windows-based system and many Macs. The final Assessment for any or all of the surveys are collected in a plain text file that can be read in any word processing program or text reader. Most of the programming is now completed.
