ABOUT Jackson Snyder and ArcCenter

ArcCenter Home

Jackson Snyder (that’s me) was born in Findlay, Ohio in 1953.  I just wanted to be a piano player when I grew up, but if that didn't work out, I wanted to be a famous faith healer instead.  I was well known both for piano playing and failing college.  I went on to become a lounge organist / violinist through 1978.  Already a believer, I had a religious awakening that year in which the Savior called me into the ministry with the United Methodist Church that I was attending.  I served as a lay preacher and music evangelist until 1985, when at age 32 I went back to college and began to pastor a small Methodist church in New Castle, Indiana.

In 1987 I completed "License to Preach" school at DePauw University.  In the preaching segment of the training I was encouraged to spend 20 hours of every week writing every word of every sermon down for every message that I would preach.  I had already been preaching from notes or rote for 8 years.  Nevertheless, I followed the advice and began journalizing everything. That practice continues.

In the years following, I finished Indiana University with high honors and went on to complete a Masters degree magna cum laude from St. Vincent DePaul Seminary (Florida) and Emory University in Atlanta.  Since 1979, I have had the opportunity to concertize, preach, lecture and serve as a missionary to Haiti.  I have accepted pastorates in Indiana, Georgia, Alabama and Florida, where I reside now.

Currently, Mignon (wife) and I are studying the Hebrew Scriptures with the Elder Jacob O. Meyer, founder of the Assemblies of Yahweh of Bethel, PA.  In what may seem to be a contradiction, we have been affiliated with St. Stephens Anglican Church in Sarasota, Florida for the last few years (as organist) but now are back in the saddle as pastoral couple for the Byrneville Methodists.  In recent years we have found great truth in both the Sacred Name (Yahweh) Movement and the concept of the Real Presence of the Savior in the Eucharist.  Such understandings are reflected in the site’s most recent contributions.

ABOUT this ArcCenter:  Web ministry has been my goal and dream long before there was an Internet.  In the past few years, 1993 - 2001, learning web design has been something of a Divine Obsession with me.  I published my first digital book in 1993 and since have worked toward proficiency in web programming to get my work up and available.  In early 2001 I find myself preparing to promote the ArcCenter to the various search engines and related sited, all the while adding new texts almost daily, including many of my own.  I thank you for taking time to peruse and perhaps to use my material.  May Yahweh bless you.

ABOUT School of the Maestro:  Contributions to our ministry go in part to a small elementary school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti which we call School of the Maestro.  The school is in an impoverished area, yet has about 35 students.  We have known and trusted the administrator, Saincius “Maestro” St. Martin, for many years.  100% of contributions to the School are sent to the field.

ABOUT Affordable Training Consultants:  ATC is the only national discount technical training brokerage in the world.  We find the technical training professionals need when and wherever they need it, and at a price significantly lower than the training companies sell their own training for.  Proceeds from the sale of training go to ministry projects.
