The Nazarene Acts
of the Apostles

Also known as
The Recognitions of Clement

Ever wonder why PAUL and not PETER received the mission to the lost tribes?  Wasn't Peter the stone upon which the "church" was to be built?  In this new translation of the Nazarene Acts, we follow Kefa (Peter) as he itinerates from Jerusalem and up the Mediterranean coast up to Tripoli, as recorded in the journals of his successor, Clement of Rome (Phi 4:3).  Every message Kefa preached, the company he kept, and the great works of faith the the Almighty accomplished through him are herein recorded.  This 300 page volume has been 'hidden' in the back of an obscure volume of the "Church Fathers" all this time.  Could it be that, in establishing the Gentile 'church' by pushing away from Judaism, this history was purposely hidden?

Why your name is important.

There are many titles and words one my answer to.  This is not a complete list, just an idea why a persons name means something.  It is also an example to prove the point and importance of having a name.

You:

You, come here!

How are you?

How have you been?

Are you okay?

Have you seen…?

I love you!

Dude:

Dude, where’s my car?

Awesome dude!

Surf’s up dude.

Mister:

Move along mister or there will be trouble.

Mister, can you spare a dime?

He/she:

How is he doing?

Is he okay?

Is he out of his mind?

Where did he go?

He is clueless.

He is awesome!

He is bright.

He came to save us.

Man:

Man is destroying the earth.

That man is awesome!

That man is a few fries short of a happy meal.

I could go on but you get the point.   Now, let’s apply some imagery.  Let’s imagine you walk into a room full of people and you want to get the attention of a particular person.  Let’s say his name is Buda (for the sake of argument and because that is seldom used today).

You enter the room and call out:

Mister!  There will be a few people turn around – Buda may not respond.

Hey, You!  Most likely everybody will turn around – Buda may not respond.

Dude!  A few surfers will turn around – Buda may respond if he surfs.

Hey man!  Some guys will turn around – Buda may not respond.

Now call out:

Hey, Buda!  You are going to get Buda’s attention and he will respond.

Now, let’s apply that to the Creator of the universe who also has a name.

We pray:

Dear lord… and at the same time on the other side of town a guy is standing in the ten items or less aisle behind a person with thirty items… “dear lord.”  I am not sure that works.

We pray:

…Jesus Christ our Lord… and at the same time on the other side of town a guy hits his thumb with a hammer…”jesus christ...”  I am not sure that works either.

We pray:

Dear Jesus… and across town Farrakhan claims he is the Messiah.

We pray:

God, save us… and on the other side of town we have the wrong Reverend Wright preaching from the pulpit, “god d_mn America, god d_mn America, god d_mn America…”  I know this does not work.

If you believe the Scriptures, you HAVE to believe he has a name.  I just quoted hundreds.  So what is his name?  There is little argument the Creators name is YHWH (Yahweh). And the Saviors name is Yahshua which means Yah is salvation.  It says He Yahshua (Jesus – which is not his name) will come in the Fathers name.  Well, His Fathers name is in Yahweh.

There is a lot of history on why the names were replaced.  That is not what this paper is about.  I can cite hundreds of references and sources.  Suffice to say all you have to do is google “god’s name”, “the name of god”, “the name of the Savior”, the “name of the lord”… and you will spend weeks sifting through tons of info all claiming the same thing – what His name is – YHWH - Yahweh.

Good luck, have fun, be blessed in your search.
